Commendations & Awards
Qualdel Homes has won a number of state awards for building excellence. We are one of a small group of custom builders who have won awards in a number of different categories.

D & G, Largs Bay: “At the beginning of 1993 we decided to buy a unit after looking extensively in the area ranging from Osborne down to Semaphore. Just by looking at the outside of this property, we were very impressed at the thought and detail that had gone into this particular property. In regard to the quality of the fittings, no detail had been overlooked. The kitchen was already prepared with microwave cupboard, built in facilities were set up for a dishwasher and a garbage disposal. Deadlocks were on all doors, nothing could be faulted. We are absolutely delighted with the whole concept of the unit. The colour scheme has created a lot of comments, it was obviously done with care and thought.”

Involvement in the work of industry associations and training programs
Jan continues to be an active member of the state level committee for the HIA National Kitchen and Bathroom Association. She also wrote a module for the HIA Kitchen and Bathroom training program, and has been a state and national judge for both kitchen and bathroom awards. She is now a member of the newly formed State Chapter of the National Kitchen & Bathroom Designers Institute, and as well a member of their National Training Committee.
Jan and Dean have been presenters in South Australia for the nationally accredited GreenSmart Professionals training course, and for a period Dean was a member of the Building Committee for the HIA in SA
